Setting Up the Advanced Forecasting Module in Epicor Prophet 21

  • Step by step configuration of Advanced Forecasting

The client was preparing to transition the responsibility for inventory purchasing to the next generation and decided that this was the time to set up Advanced Forecasting in Prophet 21. 

Atlas worked closely with the Client to help gain a clear understanding of how this module would work.  We also walked the Client step by step through the configuration of Advanced Forecasting and helped them get their items and purchasing settings ready for the transition. 

This project also required dealing with a subset of items on a long, 16 to 20-week lead time, and some custom configuration for managing sporadic items using automated Min/Max generation.
