The data was extracted from a non-P21 ERP system and loaded into P21 as item history. The forecast was applied to their new sales goal, and an inventory plan was born.

Recently we were contacted by a client and asked what could be done to help build a forecast to support the revitalization of a one lucrative product line, sold by a company that the Client acquired a little over a year ago. The Client wanted a data-driven forecast, loaded into P21, enabling them to use real data to develop the forecast.
After meeting with the client to get down into the details, Atlas was able to extract data from a non-P21 ERP system and build an item level forecast based on the previous distribution of sales during the product’s heyday, about 5 or 6 years ago. This forecast was then applied to their new sales goal, and an inventory plan was born.
We loaded this forecast up into P21 as item history, allowing the customer a very granular view of their data, assuring that they could make the best possible buying and manufacturing decisions for the product.
